Steve (Steve-O) Smith's vision for the Racing For Steve-O Foundation was to help Michiana children and adults of all abilities have opportunities to be involved in recreational activities, sports and camps. In honor of his wishes, the Racing For Steve-O Foundation offers recreational grants to organizations that support adaptive, modified and inclusive recreational activities in the Michiana area.
Individual Grant Request:
Starting in 2020, our recreational grants will be awarded directly to Reins of Life and Camp Millhouse for disbursement to individuals based on these qualifications:
#1- Those wishing to be awarded these funds must live in these Michiana counties: St. Joseph, Laporte, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall, LaGrange, Kosciusko, Fulton and Porter Counties in Indiana. Cass and Berrien counties in Michigan).
#2- Priority for these funds are given to families that volunteer at the Barron Lake Triathlon held the 4th Saturday of August every year. For more info on volunteering, please click on the tab above for Barron Lake Triathlon.
Please contact Reins of Life or Camp Millhouse directly to request a Racing for Steve-O grant.
Why are we no longer accepting applications directly? Simply because we are a very small organization ran 100% by volunteers and it has become too overwhelming for us to manage the 100's of applications we have received in the past. This allows us more time to help raise funds and continue to support our mission to help our community with special needs!
Organizational Non-Profit Grant Request:
For non-profit organizations that share our mission of helping Michiana's community with special needs located in St. Joseph, Laporte, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall, LaGrange, Kosciusko, Fulton and Porter Counties in Indiana. Cass and Berrien counties in Michigan
